Aims and Scope

Established in 1984, The Journal of NOAMI is a peer-reviewed publication of the National Oceanographic and Maritime Institute (NOAMI). Published biannually in June and December, the journal serves as a platform for disseminating research that deepens the understanding of ocean systems and their complex interactions.

The primary aim of The Journal of NOAMI is to foster scientific knowledge and innovation in oceanography, meteorology, climatology, marine technology, and the sustainable use of marine resources. The journal also publishes research on the physical, geological, chemical, and biological aspects of oceans, estuaries, and coastal regions, with a particular focus on the Blue Economy. Interdisciplinary studies and comprehensive review articles on relevant topics are strongly encouraged.
